OPENING SOON

The Corvallis Nativity Festival will soon be open starting Friday, Dec. 2nd through Tuesday Dec. 6th from 1:00 to 8:30pm each day. As you enter the exhibit area you will be transported to the streets of Bethlehem and be able to peruse the nativities displayed among the shops and stalls of the city.
Each evening we feature different concerts performed by local community groups and various church denominations. Click the information page on the left for a complete schedule of concerts and when they will be performing.
Do you have a Nativity that you would like to display? All the Nativities displayed in our exhibit are privately owned. We willing accept all who want to display. Typically we have Nativities from all over the world and at all skill levels depicting the the glorious story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Please check out the page labeled "How To Display" located on the left. This page contains all pertinent information about when to come and personally set up your own Nativity, where we are located, and when to pick it up.
The Festival, the concerts and all activities are free and open to the public and they are wheelchair accessible. We are located at 4141 NW Harrison Blvd. in Corvallis, OR.

Come Unto Bethlehem

Announcing the 17th Annual Corvallis Nativity Festival.

Dates for 2011: Friday, Dec. 2nd through Tuesday, Dec. 6th.

Times: Exhibit open from 1-8:30pm daily.

Where: 4141 NW Harrison Blvd. in Corvallis, OR

This year's exhibit features a theme incorporating the streets of Bethlehem, with it's tents, stalls, costumed people and more. Live background music plays softly as you walk around and view over 600 nativity scenes from all across the world, in all mediums and all skill levels. Each night offers concerts from different community and church groups from Corvallis, Albany and Philomath. (Please click on information pages on left for a complete schedule) The Children's Room features dress up clothes for children for picture taking opportunities and other activities for them to participate in. The Puppet Show is a short narrated musical presentation for all ages. (Again, click on information pages at left for show times each day)

Monday evening we will have our first community-wide Messiah Sing In. You can sing or sit and be surrounded by beautiful selections from Handel's Messiah. It will be an experience you won't want to miss. Come early because seating is limited!

We always welcome new contributors who would like to display their nativities. Security is provided around the clock during the entire time that nativities are in the building. We are also looking for polished musical performers to participate by providing at least a 1/2 hour of background music during exhibit hours. If you are interested in participating in other ways, we have need of people to act as Host/Hostess (in costumes provided), help with set up and take down and various other jobs. A Growing Community Tradition

Welcome to the 17th Annual Community Nativity Festival. This year's Festival will again feature an all new design with the theme "Come Unto Bethlehem" based on the scripture in Luke 2:15 ". . . Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, . . " You will be transported back to the streets of Bethlehem with it's tents, taxpayers and costumed shopkeepers.

All nativities will be displayed within these tents and shops. We will once again feature a Children's Room and a separate Theatre room where the Nativity story will be portrayed through the medium of puppets.

Due to attendance demands and feedback, this year's display has been expanded to 5 days. The Nativity Festival will run from Dec. 2ndthrough Dec. 6th from 1 - 8:30pm each day.

Each evening we will feature "concerts" performed by different community groups including: Bell Choir of the Church of the Good Samaritan, Heart of the Valley Chamber Choir, CHS Jazz Choir,Carillon of Praise Hand bell choir, Gathering Winds Quartet, and the annual broadcast of the Christmas Devotional featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. This year we are also pleased to announce a community Messiah Sing In with limited seating on Monday evening, Dec. 5th, at 7pm.
